HE'S HERE!!!!
It was a great day!
It "started" at 3:00 a.m. with a puddle on the floor next to my bed.
It "ended" with a beautiful well nourished baby boy at 7:55 a.m. that morning when I received him into my arms.
All 9 lbs and 4 wonderful ounces of him!
I couldn't have asked for a more perfect birth....
{Well, except for the 2 stitches.}
His name is Devon.
He's 4 weeks old today.
I'm absolutely in love with him!
And just in case you were wondering, weight wise, I'm pretty pleased!
I got all the way up to 261 the day before I had Devon.
Three weeks later I was already back down to 234.
I'm pretty sure that's because following the protocol actually re-set my body!
Only 10 lbs. until I'm back at 224 where I was when I got pregnant!!!!
My only efforts: I stay away from lactose, eat plenty of butter and TRY to lay off of the sugar./ gluten ;)This is the first time out of 4 kids where I've lost that much so quickly after the baby comes. It's usually a measly 10 lbs. then the weight starts going up!

What a blessing, and a beautiful family. I lost all my weight while you were pregnant, but I would have rather had a new son!

Wow 27lbs in 3 weeks? That's amazing. I thought its really hard to get back to shape after giving birth. But you did great. Congrats on the new baby and the weight loss achievement.
