I think that today I am going to start taking 60 drops instead of 45. I read about an increased dosage on the My HCG Plus site and have decided that it's worth a try. :) 
I'm going to start today. I've never had problems w/ hunger, but If it makes me loose more, I'm all for it!!! I am already taking 45 drops/ day (i'm not even sure why i'm taking so many already) 15 more won't hurt.

I bought my hCG from another place and just realized that you guys recommend a double dose. I'm on day 14 of 42 and was wondering if I could start that right now or have to wait until my next round. Is there anyone out there who did 10 drops 3x per day then switched to 10 drops 6x per day wit a greater result??? I woul...d love a testimonial before spending 2x the cash. Thanks a bunch. ;)

yes! I started low then upped my doseage and as soon as I did- I felt NO hunger anymore and my numbers on the scale were much better too! I say up it!

Julie, many people see better results not only in reducing hunger but in weight loss, with higher doses. 
Another thing, you don't necessarily have to pay twice as much. I don't know where you are purchasing now but, MyHCGPlus sells 4 ounces of drops for approx the price that many companies sell 2 ounces for (!49).

I guess it doesn't hurt to try for a few days. I already don't have problems at all with hunger but sure wouldn't mind loosing more.


Michelle, the hCG I get is very close to that price so it's mainly still paying 2x as much. :)


I will give it a try after I'm done with my ovulation stall going on so I can test properly. Thanks for your thoughts. :)

Hi Julie, just throwing in my two cents here...when I learned that the correct dose was 60 drops per day, I increased that very day and lost a pound a day for almost a week AND I was on TOM at the time. That convinced me beyond anything! I'm not saying this will happen for everyone who switches to the correct dosage, but those who don't increase to 60/day will never know how much more weight they could have lost. Please do keep us posted! :) ~Janet
 
Just out of curiosity, do any of you that use drops use 60 drops as your daily dose?????  

9: 30 p.m.  I remember saying I wasn't going to cheat. I THINK I was talking about not cheating by eating non-protocol foods. I am full of justifications. If you ever want to convince yourself to do something and feel good about it at the time, I'm your girl. Take tonight for example. Tonight I had a spread of yummy food sitting in front of me at book club: lemon cookies, bread and spinach dip, mini pigs in a blanket, stuffed mushrooms, etc...AND there were strawberries. Not harmless little strawberries, they were coated with chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate. Yum. It all smelled great, looked great, but I was being good. Remember. I was being good until the very end of the evening, I caved. No, I didn't grab a plate full of goods, I grabbed a very large strawberry, cracked the chocolate shell, threw it away inconspicuously and proceeded to really enjoy that strawberry. Strawberries are on the protocol, right??? WRONG. The protocol allows 2 fruits a day. My apple, my grapefruit and those 3 yummy chololate kissed strawberries means I ate 3 fruit servings [and a nominal amount of chocolate that I tasted hints of as It clung to it's mother.} What am I to do with myself? Must I spell every rule out E X P L I C I T L Y on my hand when ever I am in front of food so I don't cave??? Maybe a t-shirt would be helpful that reads: My 500 calorie limit has been reached. I am not eating anything else tonight. 
 
Boy, those strawberries were delish.

Reactions: No problems at all. It feels good when I am resolute and strong!!! I was especially pleased when I saw the random picture that my husband took. No make up or anything, but wow, my face looks a lot thinner! When I look in the mirror, I am even caught off guard a bit because my body is looking a lot better....it's a wonderful thing!!! ;)
 
Looking forward to: Lentils. I made black lentils for my family tonight. I just love their peppery smell!!!
Out of bed: 9:20 (got 8 hours of sleep still! It was worth it to get enough sleep, even If I had to wake up to the messy house. (my husband was awake, but only half watching the kids since on the computer. :)

All it takes to make my tummy VERY happy: a fast blender, an orange w/ the white flesh left on, 1c. ice, 1/2 c. water and 20 drops of stevia. I intentionally leave that white outer flesh on because I noticed that it makes the drink nice and frothy, which I love. So filling. I just need to remember to make guilt free treats like this when I'm not taking hCG. It's that yummy!

Reactions: I am actually glad I didn't loose ANY today. Serves me right for all of the small mishaps I had from yesterday. Even little cheats are not good on this diet! It's a harsh reality, but a reality that helps me stay on the straight and narrow {mostly.} For some reason I didn't even have a bowel movement today (which is VERY unusual when I am using Smooth Move tea at night.) No poo usually means no loss for me. Darn it.
I don't like it when I'm not being a good girl, but at least I know that one iffy day isn't the end of loosing as I have known it. Now that I think of it, I am reminded of how much I love the confinement of the hCG Protocol. I feel safe and know that if I follow it, I will loose weight. I never felt that following other strict diets. So today and from no on...I'm going to stop nibbling! And if i mess up again, lets hope I get a negative result. Thank goodness for cause and effect when learning the lessons of life.

Looking back at today, I can't help but shake my head. I was mindlessly putting thinga into my mouth that didn't belong there all day long. First it was a nibble of a cucumber Wonton sample from Trader Joe's {which I spit out}. Then it was a crumb of my kid's sweet potato {which I spit out.} Next it was a lick of chocolate frosting {which I spit out, but am sure a smidgen of sugar went straight to my blood.}  To top it all off, I found 5 blackberries the kids left in the car then completley gobbled them up {so nothing was left to spit out.}I'm sure those are NOT on the protocol, especially at 9 at night. 
 
I am not a complete failure, because if I was not using hCG and didn't have a strict protocol laid out before me, I would be cheating little bits here and there all of the time. This instance of compulsive tensy bites is going to stop today!
Being a weakling for 1 day is ENOUGH!!!!!!
...and I'm still shaking my head at myself. 
No more nibbling allowed!
 
On the bright side, I did NOT pull into In N Out Burger like I wanted to last night. I luckily had more self control than that at least. I can't say that if one was sitting in front of me, that I wouldn't have licked the cheese though! Oh boy.

That made it easier to resist the fresh baked bread I woke up to, homemade ranch and homemade spice cake my husband made. It's cruel, isn't it. He did the 1st round w/ me so I give him a little credit, but c'mon. Give me a break here buddy!!!

Reactions:Still not below 237. At least that's only about 17 Stones. 17 sounds nicer than 237. Getting tired of this. Hoping this stall will be OVER soon. Ready to loose again. Being a good girl, but it's hard when not much is happening. This is where I was this past Wed. I'm hoping tomorrow to get out of this stall. 
I did a little "retail therapy" with my daughter Anna, when I wished I could be doing restaurant therapy and eating out. Retail therapy is spending $10 bucks at garage sales and $20 at Ross, so not much harm was done, but it kept me distracted.Anna is only 3, but it is nice to have her along instead of all 3 of my little ones at once. She's mostly a doll and is completely adorable. ;)
I also spent time in our little garden. I put some seeds into the ground with hopes that some will grow. It's only my second year gardening in the desert and I already am feeling more confident. It is nice that the garden area is already in place and that all I need to do is amend the soil a bit and throw some seeds down. ;)

Looking forward to: lotion. my skin is feeling dry from the gardening.

Reactions: I was wondering when I would gain since I am ovulating...today was the day. I woke up very stiff and felt puffy.

Tonight as I made pancakes and a spinach/cheese omelet for my family I was definitely longing for that food. If I didn't have to smell it for almost an hour while cooking it, I wouldn't feel like I'm missing out like I am. I still cook yummy food for them, while I just do what is right, even if sometimes it is NO fun! I could have totally eaten that omelet on p3...which is only 4 weeks away. ;)

Looking forward to: a spinach cheese omelet in 4 weeks.

Exercise: none. i should have gotten out today. the weather was beautiful...but i didn't. tomorrow.

Looking forward to: shopping in the regular sized clothing stores. my friend was talking about a store she liked. i'd love to shop there. as a big girl, i can't wear their clothing....but that won't be the case much longer!

Maybe it's because I'm ovulating. 
Maybe it was the pizza grease on my hands. 
Maybe It was going to bed too late. 
Maybe it was eating to late. 
Maybe I exerted myself too much during my walking. 
Maybe it's the moon!!
Maybe....it's all of the above! 
Either that, or it's just what happens around the 12/13 day mark on hCG like last time!!
{At least it's not a gain like I had this same time last round!} 
Wait, maybe the gain will happen tomorrow! ;)
Whatever! 
No loss: No biggie.

(10:00) I ate out for the first time while on hCG. My friends were going out and I didn't want to miss out, even while on hCG. I'm so glad I went, even though I stuck out. I was running late so I didn't have time to cook my buffalo and asparagus I planned to bring. Instead, I grabbed a bag of already cooked, frozen chicken, an apple and stuck the raw asparagus in a bag as I walked out the door in a rush.  Luckily, an hour went by until time to eat which was just enough time for the chicken to defrost in my pocket. To eat, I ordered an onion sauteed only in water and they were happy to oblige! I added my then defrosted chicken to the onions and had a lovely dinner while sipping on my water w/ a bunch o lemon slices. I enjoyed my food and was glad to go, even while on hCG. What a great thing it is to be satisfied when eating so little...and I wasn't even longing for that other stuff today!
